The mark of a great Service Manager is not if he knows cars but rather if he knows people. Thankfully Mr. Catarata understands both really well. With a career as an automotive technician spanning over 8 years (5+ years with Volkswagen and 2 years with M-Spec Performance) Mike knows cars inside and out. Leveraging his accomplishments as a Volkswagen Master Technician as well being ASE certified, Mike can confidently and precisely explain any system or component on your vehicle.
Mike’s real strength however is his love for people! Spend some time with Mike and his happy go lucky personality is infectious. After a career as an automotive technician Mike felt his calling was interacting and helping people. Going above and beyond for Essential Clients is standard and Mike’s drive to always ensure the client is well taken care of.
Beyond work, Mike enjoys weightlifting, bike riding and hiking. His white Subaru WRX fits his personality and active lifestyle perfectly. At Essential Auto Care we affectionately nickname Mike “fire hydrant” for his goal to be in his words, “I can’t get any taller so I’ll work on getting wider”.
